Subsurface Investigation - Construction Alert (Updates - 8/12/19)

The contractor will be replacing the temporary asphalt patches with concrete. The work is expected to last one day.
Subsurface Investigation - Construction Alert
The Program Wide Energy and Utility Infrastructure Assessment will commence potholing activities this week. Their scope of work is to verify existing underground utilities previously located via ground penetrating radar. Starting tomorrow, Wednesday July 24, 2019 through Saturday, July 27, 2019, the contractor will begin performing their pothole investigation. The contractor is expected to complete the work by August 13, 2019. During this time, expect to hear loud noises as the crews work around campus. Next week’s activities will be posted shortly.

Due to materials availability for the required safety screening at the planned excavation area North of E3, the soil removal is scheduled to start Monday 4/1/19.

Construction Alert - Underground Utilities!
The team from Cardno will be investigating the manholes on the road located along D5, E7 and F7. Their truck and team will move from manhole to manhole along this fire lane starting Tuesday 3/5/19 and ending Friday 3/22/19. They will also be accessing ground utility boxes around the E, F and G buildings. Work areas will be coned and/or barricaded for safety. MAP

Starting October 8, 2018, GMZ Engineering Inc., will begin the Site Restorations at Bungalow Complexes Project. Construction areas include bungalows A2, B1 and E8, and their immediate surroundings. MAP.
