CalTAP California Benefits Overview for Veterans & Service Members

Elac's Veterans Resource Center will be hosting an event for veterans and service members on Friday, 4/28, in collaboration with the CalVet Transition Assistance Program. The CalTAP 4-hour long workshop is only held on CA military bases. We are thrilled to bring the program to the community and to our military-connected residents. Information on education, employment, and entrepreneurship pathways for vets and service members will be presented. Lunch will be provided, with exciting raffles throughout the event.  VA Identification cards will be issued on the spot as well to further connect our veterans to their benefits.

11:20 a.m. - Break: Surprise Raffle and Lunch Provided

12:05 p.m. - SSVF, VPAN, AJCC from JVS SoCal 

12:20 p.m. - CalVet Home Loans 

12:50 p.m. - Questions and Answers, VA Enrollment, individual claim inquiries, and more!

2:00 pm - Closing

This event is open to veterans, service members, and their families, as well as faculty/staff/service providers seeking to learn more about benefits and pathways for veterans living in California.
