ELAC Letters Entrance

Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy

A Message from Our Program Director

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in ELAC's first-ever Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy (BSRT).

Currently, we are in the final stages of "ironing out" our curriculum but we are already approved at the college, district, and state level to offer the BSRT.

Although detailed admissions requirements are still in the works, all I can say for now is you must have an ASRT (Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy) from a regionally accredited institution and must have the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.

The BSRT program will be conducted in an online, asynchronous platform, meaning there will be no face-to-face meeting. The application period will start in Spring 2025 and our first BSRT cohort will start in the Fall 2025 semester.

For now, we ask that you please email us your interest and personal information, we will keep your name and email address in our database so that we will email you more information as we finalize our admissions process and other announcements. Please email us at BSRT@elac.edu

Once again, thank you for your interest in our BSRT and we will be in touch once again very soon.

Allan Gonzales, M.Ed., RCP, RRT, RRT-NPS
Program Director
