Project Firstline Community College Collaborative Conference – Spring 2022
Planned as a major dissemination and professional development event, the online conference’s primary objectives are to (a) share project resources with the broader community college nursing and allied health field, and (b) provide guidance and practical examples of ways to integrate Project Firstline concepts and materials into existing curriculum. The conference will feature programming such as presentations by infection control subject-matter experts from AHA and CDC; sessions focused on principles of instructional design in effective teaching and learning; presentations/panels sharing community college approaches to enhancing infection control curriculum developed and implemented during the project; sessions featuring AHA’s legacy content module; and a showcase of Project Firstline partner organizations’ project resources. Other possible networking opportunities include scheduling appointments and small-group discussions on topics of interest. The conference will be widely promoted among community college nursing and allied health faculty, administrators, and preceptors, as well as other interested parties as determined by the AHA, CDC, and the League.
