Institution-Set Standards
East Los Angeles College has established a set of eight measures for college-wide reporting as institution-set standards for student achievement. A "standard" is a minimum level (floor) of acceptable performance. Should the college fall below a standard, an institution-wide response would occur.
These measures are all directly related to the college’s Strategic Plan and are aligned to the College's Mission Statement, via “Increasing student success and academic excellence through student-centered instruction, student-centered support services, and dynamic technologies.”
The measures, and their corresponding standards, are summarized in the following dashboard:

Program and Discipline-Set Standards
Each of the College's disciplines and programs established or revised their standards for outcomes such as success, retention, and completers during the Program Review Self-Evaluation. Data for standard monitoring will be updated every Fall semester for the previously completed academic year.
