The policies and procedures for faculty evaluations are specific in the AFT collective bargaining agreement, Article 19 which requires that all faculty members be evaluated. As part of an instructor’s evaluation process, students need to complete “Student Evaluation of Online Instructor”. For an online instructor, this can be easily accomplished by using the learning management system, Canvas. Evaluation Committee Chair The periodic evaluation of a faculty is to be conducted by a department peer review committee and the Dean. Prior to the instructor’s evaluation period, please submit the “Student Evaluation of Online Instructor Request” form. The results of the survey will be sent to the email designated by the evaluation committee chair. The survey is anonymous.
