East Los Angeles College's athletic facilities provide an outstanding venue for collegiate sports. Weingart Stadium has been retrofitted to include a field turf playing surface certified by the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and a new Mondo track surface, which is identical to facilities used at the Olympics. A swim stadium, two gyms and numerous outdoor fields provide ELAC athletes with excellent facilities that support physical education courses and competitive college teams. The ELAC marching band and pep squad enhance athletic performances and expand the opportunities to support the college.
