Please be advised that the construction fencing for the Campus Center Bookstore (F5) will be installed along the perimeter of the project site beginning Tuesday, March 19, 2013. The construction fencing will remain during the duration of the construction which is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2014. On Friday, March 1, 2013 access along the southeast corner of the concourse will be impacted by construction activity at the East End Zone Terrace project.
Additionally, beginning Friday, March 1 through Monday, March 11, 2013 debris removal from the Math & Science site will begin along the east side of the site. The trucks will be entering through Collegian Avenue, north of the S2 building and exiting through Cesar Chavez just east of the G1 building. The trucks will be escorted entering and exiting the campus by 3-flagmen. Click here for map.

The Men's baseball contractor will be hoisting and tack-welding the upper half of the steel netting poles Thursday, 2/14/2013 starting at 5:00 AM and be complete before 7:00 AM. This will ensure that the Child Development Center is unoccupied during this process as an added safety precaution.
The Science & Career contractor will be closing the fire road (east side of campus) between P1, G3 and the Science Career construction site Friday, 2/15/2013 due to concrete delivery activities. This closure will be from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Effective Monday, December 17, 2011 the Avalanche Way Road off of Bleakwood will be closed to vehicle traffic. This road is located between the men’s baseball field and the Northwest Stadium parking lot. This closure is needed for the renovation of the men’s baseball facilities and installation of new field turf. This closure will last the duration of this project into the Spring Semester. The pedestrian pathways will be maintained at all times with directional signs to the A-2, A-3 ,A-4 & A-5 facilities. We will be posting detour/directional signs to the Faculty/Staff parking lot located between B-1 & B-2.

Be advised that the EastWest Alvalanche Way (feeding off of Bleakwood) will be closed beginning Monday, December 17th through Friday, December 21, 2012. All traffic flow heading to the lower B1/B2 Modular village parking lot will be routed through the NW parking lot to head south into the lower B1/B2 driveway. We apologize for this inconvenience.

The demolition of building H5 will begin on Thursday, December 6th through Friday, December 7th. The building demolition for G5 will begin on Monday, December 10th through Tuesday, December 11th. This will be the only buildings which will be demolished at this time to prepare for the installation of the new sewer along the southwest corner of the site. Thank you for your patience during these construction activities.

The delivery of another campus marquees which will be located at the SE corner of Floral Drive and Avalanche Way will be delivered on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. To insure safety, the northbound lane on Avalanche Way will be closed on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 7:00am to 1:00pm. Pedestrians using Floral Drive will be escorted around the construction area during this installation duration. Northbound traffic along Avalanche will be detoured through the northwest parking lot to Bleakwood Avenue. Thank you in advance for your patience during these construction activities.
November 5th, 2012
Beginning on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 2:00am, the contractor for the Science Career and Mathematics-Demolition project, will be delivering their construction trailers which will be located just north of the G8 & H8 buildings. The trailer installation should be complete by 6:30am. Beginning at 6:00am, the same day, the construction fence vendor will begin delivering and installing the perimeter construction fence around buildings G5, G6, H5, H6, & H7. The trucks will be entering through the Collegian Avenue campus road just north of S2 and exiting through Cesar Chavez between P1 & G1 buildings. Buildings G8 & H8 will not be disrupted during these activities. Your patience during these activities is greatly appreciated.

Campus Sign (see map): On Friday, November 2, 2012 from 6:00am through 10:00am the Floral Drive east bound lanes and Collegian Avenue south bound lane will be closed due to the delivery of the ELAC sign. The Collegian Avenue ramp from Parking Structure 4 will be closed during this activity. The sign will be installed at the SW corner of Floral Drive and Collegian Avenue adjacent to the parking structure. Please plan your travel routes accordingly.
Men's Baseball Field (see map): designated street parking spots along Avalanche Way, north of the Men's Baseball Field, will be temporarily removed beginning October 31 through November 2, 2012 for truck haul-out activities.

Please be advised that the path of travel between E1 & E3 and the west side of the Bailey Library will be closed from Friday, October 26, 2012 through Sunday, December 2, 2012 due to major construction activities within the E3/E5 construction jobsite.
Additionally, all Parking and Drop-Off activities within the D7 lot area (along Floral Drive) will be Closed to the campus from October 26, 2012 through November 2014. This access will be primarily for construction truck activity only."

Men's Baseball Field: The renovation of the Men's Baseball Field will begin on October 18, 2012. Access through the baseball field will be closed beginning on Friday, October 19, 2012. The renovation of the field will continue through March 2013. We apologize for this inconvenience but appreciate your cooperation while we complete our construction activities.

The pedestrian/cart pathway between E3 and E5 will be closed beginning Monday, October 8, 2012 through the duration of construction for the Student Success & Retention project. Campus access, in the east/west directions, will occur south of E3 (between E1 & E3) and north of E5 (south of E7).
