Student instructions to update your mobile phones to our emergency notification system
1.) Emails were sent to your student ACE email system subject titled “ELAC Alert” providing your username and password to login into the ELAC emergency system. Login into your ACE email account to access your account information.
If you know how to login into your ACE email system, please skip to step 3.
If you do not know your ACE account, which is required to access your email system,to find out.
What is my ACE account username and password.
Username: Your username is the same as the Student ID number which starts with 88 and is a 9-digit number. Username: 881234567
Password: The password starts with "Elac," and is followed by the month and day of the student's birthday using this format ElacMMDD. Note that the "E" must be capitalized. In the example above, the student has a birthday of January 8 and the password would be as follows: Password: Elac0108

2.) To login into the ACE email system with your ACE Accounts, please go to the following website. https://webmail.go.elac.edu/exchweb/bin/auth/owalogon.asp?url=https://webmail.go.elac.edu/exchange&reason=0
3.) After you are logged into your email account and you are able to find the email subject title “ELAC Alert”, please use the username and password in that email to log into the ELAC emergency notification system which is located here. https://www.getrave.com/login/elac.
If you cannot find the email subject title “ELAC Alert” in your ACE email system then you will have to reset your password through the emergency system.

How to reset your emergency system password
Go online at https://www.getrave.com/login/elac and click on forgot password. Your username is your ACE email address. This will have the system resend your password to your ACE email system.
What is my student email address format?
The e-mail address is generated from a combination of the Student's name and ID number; we use the [first three letters of your last name] + [first three letters of your first name] + [the last 5 numbers of your Student ID].
Example: Smi + joh + 34567 = Smijoh34567 + domain (go.elac.edu) completes the e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org
4.) Login into the https://www.getrave.com/login/elac website with your username and password provided in the email sent to your ACE email system. After successfully logged into the emergency system, you will see the webpage below. Figure 1.0
5.) On the Mobile Phones area, click on the “Add” button to add your mobile device number. Figure 1.1
6.) Add your phone number, and click on confirm. The system will ask for your provider, please select your phone provider. Figure 1.2
7.) The system will send an instant text message with a confirmation number to your mobile device. You will need to input that confirmation code into the site before your phone number is added to our emergency notification system. Figure 1.3
8.) Optional: You also have the capability to include your email as another way of receiving our emergency notifications.
9.) That’s it, you are done. Hopefully you will not be receiving a notification from ELAC anytime soon.
