Health & Mental Health Services
Services provided by our medical and mental health contractor, Via Care, are LGBTQ+-friendly. All providers have been trained by the County Department of HIV and STD programs on PrEP/PEP and cultural competence, have received training in cultural competence and humility by Gilead Compass, and have received training on trans* cultural competency in the clinical setting. Both of Via Care’s PrEP/PEP Navigators identify as LGBTQ+. OB/GYN providers are trained and ready to assist all LGBTQ+ students including trans*-identified students.

LGBTQ+ students (and any students, regardless of gender identity and/or sexual orientation) are urged to contact Jessica at @email if they have a negative experience with our Health Center.
