Dr. Tara Yosso Cultivating a Community of Praxis at East Los Angeles College

Her symposium talk for the campus will introduce us to the community cultural wealth model and will demonstrate how we can foster a critical historical perspective of the communities we aim to serve. Her talk will ask us to consider how we may draw on the ingenuity and courage of those who have come before us in the struggle for educational equality to cultivate a community of praxis.
