Welcome to Administration

East Los Angeles College (ELAC) is led by Dr. Alberto J. Román, who became Interim President on July 1, 2020 and permanent President as approved by the Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees on December 16, 2020. President Román is responsible for the daily operations of the college and its overall direction. Supporting the President is a diverse, passionate administrative team with the shared goal of having a positive impact on students, staff, and faculty. ELAC administrative offices are essential to supporting the operations and mission of the college. They deal with diverse range of issues including:
